Hot Dog Lunch Idea

I know it doesn’t take a pro to make a hot dog, but I’m putting this meal idea up just as an idea. It’s easy to eat multiple hot dogs if you don’t eat the first one with anything on the side, but it’s also easy to feel sick after eating more than one hot dog… so just add some fresh vegetables and/or chips and make it a more well-rounded meal and forgo the second hot dog!

Ingredients:

  • Oscar Mayer Jumbo Weiners (made with Turkey, Chicken, and Pork) or your favorite kind of hot dog
  • Hot dog buns
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • sliced vegetables (cucumber, carrot, bell pepper, etc.)
  • chips (Cheddar Sun Chips are fantastic!)

Instructions:

Heat the hot dogs in the microwave (I usually do 30 seconds for 1 hot dog). Put the hot dog in the bun and squirt ketchup and mustard on top. Serve with sliced vegetables and chips.
