I usually make hummus with peanut butter instead of Tahini, but I recently found a super easy HOMEMADE TAHINI recipe and tried making this hummus with it. The hummus turned out great! It’s so good that you might catch yourself eating it with a spoon before you even think to get out any dippers. And since the hummus is so healthy, you wouldn’t even have to feel guilty for eating it by the spoonful. 🙂
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp. Tahini (click HERE for a simple homemade Tahini recipe)
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- optional: dash of paprika for serving
Instructions:
- Blend together Tahini and lemon juice in blender.Â
- Add other ingredients, one by one, blending between each ingredient.
- If you’d like to, add a dash of paprika before serving to add a little color.
- Serve with pita bread, chips, olives, carrot sticks, or anything else you think would be yummy with it.
