I salivate just remembering how indulgently aromatic they turned out…gotta make some more!
Ingredients:
- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 C. butter
- 2 eggs, divided
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 C. chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 C. flaked coconut
- 1/2 C. chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, butter, and 1 egg until crumbly. Firmly press evenly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Stir together sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and the other remaining egg. Add in chocolate chips, 1 C. coconut, and walnuts. Spread over chocolate cake mixture in the pan.
- Sprinkle the last 1/3 C. coconut on top.
- Cook for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown (center will set when cooled).
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
