No one will ever guess that you used whole wheat flour in this banana bread! You can also use white flour or do a combination and it turns out great every time! This recipe came from my sister and I just added a few spices. : )

- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 2 C. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini or regular sized)
- chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add bananas, eggs, applesauce, and milk.
- In separate bowl, mix flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and allspice.
- Combine mixtures. It should be a little thicker than cake batter.
- Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Bake in 2 circular cake pans for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (It’s definitely better a little more cooked than not cooked enough!)
