Classic Soft Tacos

Ingredients (about 10 soft tacos):

  • 1/3 of a yellow onion, diced
  • about 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • about 1.3 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 packet of taco seasoning
  • shredded romaine lettuce
  • diced tomatoes
  • grated cheese
  • optional: mild or hot sauce
  • 10 flour tortillas
Instructions:
  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef. Cook until meat is thoroughly browned. Drain out the fat.
  3. Stir in half of a taco seasoning packet.
  4. Heat each tortilla in a clean pan over medium high heat, until each side has light brown bubbles.
  5. Place 2-3 Tbsp. of the meat mixture in each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and grated cheese (and hot sauce if you’d like).
