Ingredients (about 10 soft tacos):
- 1/3 of a yellow onion, diced
- about 1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
- about 1.3 lbs ground beef or ground turkey
- 1/2 packet of taco seasoning
- shredded romaine lettuce
- diced tomatoes
- grated cheese
- optional: mild or hot sauce
- 10 flour tortillas
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
- Add the ground beef. Cook until meat is thoroughly browned. Drain out the fat.
- Stir in half of a taco seasoning packet.
- Heat each tortilla in a clean pan over medium high heat, until each side has light brown bubbles.
- Place 2-3 Tbsp. of the meat mixture in each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and grated cheese (and hot sauce if you’d like).
