Here is a delicious hummus recipe for anyone who doesn’t want to make an extra trip to the grocery store just to buy Tahini. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans (and about 1/3 or 1/4 C. of the liquid)
1 clove garlic
1/4 C. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. peanut butter
optional:
black pepper and olive oil on top
Instructions:
Blend all of the ingredients together in a small blender or food processor. Spoon hummus into a bowl and pour a little olive oil on the top and add a few sprinkles of black pepper. Serve with fresh vegetables or Pita bread.
