I usually make hummus with peanut butter instead of Tahini, but I recently found a super easy HOMEMADE TAHINI recipe and tried making this hummus with it. The hummus turned out great! It’s so good that you might catch yourself eating it with a spoon before you even think to get out any dippers. And since the hummus is so healthy, you wouldn’t even have to feel guilty for eating it by the spoonful. 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tbsp. Tahini (click HERE for a simple homemade Tahini recipe)
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 (15 oz) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • optional: dash of paprika for serving

Instructions:

  1. Blend together Tahini and lemon juice in blender.
  2. Add other ingredients, one by one, blending between each ingredient.
  3. If you’d like to, add a dash of paprika before serving to add a little color.
  4. Serve with pita bread, chips, olives, carrot sticks, or anything else you think would be yummy with it.
