Delicious Spaghetti Sauce with Vegetables Recipes

Ingredients (makes about 6 servings):

  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • about 1/3 C. chopped onion
  • 1/2 green bell pepper chopped
  • sliced mushrooms (I sliced about 6 or 7)
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) can Italian flavored diced tomatoes
  • about 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • optional: Parmesan cheese or bread crumbs if you want a thicker sauce

Instructions:

  1. Fill a pot with about 1 inch of water covering the bottom.
  2. Steam the vegetables.
  3. Drain out the extra water.
  4. Add tomato sauce and diced tomatoes and oregano.
  5. Simmer for a few minutes before serving.
