Most of the rib recipes say to cook the ribs for about 5 or 6 hours and add sauce to them every 20 minutes… or marinate them overnight. Well I had about 2 1/2 hours until dinnertime, so I just decided to see how they’d turn out. I lined the glass pan with foil, put some water and lemon juice in the pan, and laid the ribs on top. Then I sprinkled garlic powder, salt, pepper, turmeric, and thyme and a little more lemon juice on top. Then I covered them up with foil and let them cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Then I drained out the water and fat and let them cook for about 10 more minutes. They were so good!
Sorry I didn’t get the measurements of everything, but here is the list of ingredients:
- country-style pork ribs
- water
- lemon juice
- garlic powder
- salt
- pepper
- turmeric
- thyme
Enjoy!
